It was my birthday. Damon and I spent the entire summer looking for Stefan and I was trying to put on a good face because Caroline was throwing this party for me, but I was so sad. I was 2 seconds from deciding that I wasn’t gonna go. I wasn’t gonna leave the room, until Damon walked in and gave me my birthday gift. It was the necklace that Stefan had given me, I’d lost it, but Damon knew what the necklace meant to me. What it meant about my feelings for Stefan. Even though he loved me, he gave me the one thing that represented hope for me and his brother. I knew how much it hurt him, but he did it. It was the most selfless that he’s ever been, and in that moment I loved him. I didn’t want to, I mean it terrified me, but for that moment I loved him.

One of the most incredible shows premiered to the world on this day 10 years ago...I can't believe it's been a decade, WOW. Happy 10th Anniversary LOST!

Damon has experienced an immense amount of pain in his life. We all use humor as a Band-Aid and a medicine for pain. Damon is no exception to that rule. I coined this phrase from my acting coach- she's my mentor, my guru, one of my best friends and one of the biggest reasons Damon is the way he is.

Nina Dobrev heads to 'The Originals' as original doppelganger Tatia

We knew a Vampire Diaries-Originals crossover was in the works, and now we know which actor will be making the transition: The doppelganger of all doppelgangers, Nina Dobrev.

EW has confirmed that Dobrev will be heading to the fifth episode of The Originals‘ second season as Tatia. Fans of The Vampire Diaries might recognize that name from the season 3 dinner that brought the Mikaelson brothers and the Salvatore brothers together.
Over the aforementioned dinner, Klaus and Elijah explained the “allure” of the Petrova doppelganger by taking things back to the original doppelganger—Tatia. Not only were both Klaus and Elijah in love with Tatia, but it was Esther who later killed Tatia in order to use her blood for the spell that would stop Klaus from becoming a hybrid.
In an interview with E! Online, showrunner Julie Plec revealed that Tatia will appear in a flashback during the Originals episode airing Nov. 3.

A CW liberou um novo trailer da sexta temporada de Vampire Diaries, com direito a diversas cenas inéditas. Além de destacar o sofrimento de Elena pela perda de Damon, o vídeo ainda mostra que Stefan está curtindo a vida ao lado de um novo amor.
Enquanto isso, Jeremy faz questão de afogar as mágoas na bebida, ao mesmo tempo em que Caroline e Alaric trocam experiências enquanto Mystic Falls segue a vida sem seres sobrenaturais (mas isso não significa que a cidade está a salvo). Confira:

Será que Vampire Diaries conseguiria seguir em frente sem um de seus três atores principais? É essa a pergunta colocada pelo E! Online em uma notícia na qual revela um pouco mais a respeito dos contratos dos atores.

Segundo a publicação, Ian Somerhalder, Nina Dobrev e Paul Wesley já estão conversando com a Warner Bros., o estúdio responsável pela série, sobre o futuro financeiro e, até o momento, apenas dois deles assinaram contratos para um possível sétimo ano da atração vampiresca.
O terceiro (cuja identidade não foi revelada pelo site) não está certo(a) se quer continuar a fazer parte do elenco — o motivo não foi revelado. O E! Online afirma ainda que a notícia foi confirmada por diversas fontes ligadas à negociação, mas que o estúdio não comenta sobre questões contratuais.
Caso os três fechem seus respectivos acordos, existe uma boa possibilidade de a série retornar para o sétimo ano (que, vale destacar, ainda não está garantido). Ao mesmo tempo, é possível que a CW considere a opção de continuar sem o trio completo, focando sua atenção nos outros personagens da emissora.
Julie Plec deu uma entrevista para a publicação durante a Comic-Con 2014 e afirmou o seguinte:
“Acredito que a série seguirá em frente enquanto os atores quiserem. Veja, todos estão sob contrato (até o sexto ano). Sei que temos planos para a sexta temporada e para a sétima. Sei também que nossos chefes possuem planos para os anos oito, nove e dez. Eu disse que quero fazer parte disso enquanto puder continuar a contar boas histórias e enquanto as pessoas com quem eu trabalho quiserem ficar ali, comprometidas e dedicadas. Até agora, tudo bem. Veremos até quando podemos seguir em frente, fazendo coisas legais”.
Será esse o começo do fim? Ou quem não fechou acordo está apenas blefando sobre sair para conseguir um maior salário? Por enquanto ainda é muito cedo para falar, porém vale a pena ficar de olho em novas informações que forem surgindo a respeito do futuro dos atores na série.

A CW divulgou a sinopse do segundo episódio desta sexta temporada de Vampire Diaries, intitulado “Yellow Ledbetter”. Nela, descobrimos que Elena ainda está lidando com a perda de Damon, ao mesmo tempo em que o Salvatore tenta descobrir exatamente onde está e como fará para voltar para casa.

“LONGE DE CASA — Sabendo que precisa aceitar de alguma forma a morte de Damon, Elena pede ajuda para Alaric a fim de seguir em frente. Ao mesmo tempo, Matt se preocupa com Jeremy, já que o segundo está passando um bom tempo ao lado de Sarah, a jovem misteriosa que recentemente chegou a Mystic Falls.
