Damon has experienced an immense amount of pain in his life. We all use humor as a Band-Aid and a medicine for pain. Damon is no exception to that rule. I coined this phrase from my acting coach- she's my mentor, my guru, one of my best friends and one of the biggest reasons Damon is the way he is.
